What to do? Golf, Thoughts
|
I went out to play a round of golf this morning, after hitting about 30 balls at the range this morning.
I did this, only because I was hitting the ball pretty good at the range. My tempo was good, and I was hitting the ball pretty much where I was aiming.
But once I got on the course, all that changed. Not only were my tempo and rhythm way off, but half the time I couldn’t even make good contact on the ball, and when I did, it sure didn’t go where I planned.
I just don’t know anymore. I used to like to play golf. Last year I was playing 2 or 3 times a week. Now, I’ve only played about 4 times this year, and I really have no more desire to play.
Plus it was freakin’ hot, so I quit after 9 holes.
I can’t even imagine how anyone can play golf in Florida, or anywhere else in the East or Midwest. As a matter of fact, I can’t even imagine how people can live in those areas.
They must all be daffy!

Well, I would imagine in order to be any good at golf you would need to play more than 4 times a year. You should invest in a Wii. With my bad back I can still kick ass at bowling and tether ball and I bet Edie would like it too!
Really, the only reason I went golfing today at all was because I didn’t ride my bike, and I didn’t want to sit around the house doing nothing.
Now I wish I had ridden my bike this morning.
As it is, now I am sitting around the house doing nothing.
Oh well, such is life!
